Brown has over 24 years in commercial real estate with NAI Carolantic Realty. He deals extensively in industrial/office/flex/R&D facilities and land. He has represented such notable clients as Alcatel, Lockheed Martin, International Paper, John Deere, Liberty Property Trust and Sanmina-SCI. Brown is one of only 85 members in North Carolina who have been awarded the SIOR status. He has also achieved the CCIM designation which requires over 240 hours of graduate level class work, transaction documentation and comprehensive examination.

Merge is a clinical trials and marketing firm to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. “Despite the bad news you hear about the economy, there are companies who are growing and expanding in our region. I’m glad we had a building that met their needs,” said Anders.

She is a member of the NAI Global Life Sciences team which provides a broad array of specialized services, including corporate services, tenant representation, acquisition/disposition and facilities management to large and small firms in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device and related industries.

Raleigh, NC – December 17, 2009: NAI Carolantic Realty’s President, Jimmy Barnes, SIOR, was recently appointed to serve as Chair of the Annual Friends of Scouting Breakfast for the Occoneechee Council of Boy Scouts of America. The Annual Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 10th at 7:15am at the North Raleigh Hilton in Raleigh. Mr. Barnes was pleased to announce today the 2010 keynote speaker will be Dr. Nido Qubein, President of High Point University.
Dr. Qubein came to the United States as a teenager with little knowledge of English, no contacts and $50 in his pocket. His life has been an amazing success story. In the past year, Dr. Qubein has addressed more than 100 business and professional groups around the world. He is an entrepreneur with interests in real estate, advertising and banking.
The Annual Friends of Scouting Breakfast attracts more than 500 business and government officials, and is the Occoneechee Council’s primary fundraiser for the year. The event helps to support over 14,680 current youth members. An additional 3,100 local youth joined the Boy Scouts just this past fall. The Occoneechee Council serves Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Lee, Moore, Orange, Vance, Wake and Warren counties. “I look forward to helping raise the needed funds to support the Boys Scouts. They continue to make a significant impact on the lives of our young people,” said Barnes.

Raleigh, NC – November 2, 2009 –NAI Carolantic Realty is pleased to welcome Andrew Moss Withers who has joined the firm as a Broker. “While initially an intern with NAI Carolantic, Moss has already proven he is capable of working with clients to help meet their real estate needs. Mr. Withers has had previous experience in retail, personnel and consumer based management.
While brokering at NAI Carolantic, Withers will continue to pursue his MBA at North Carolina State University with specialties in Business Renovation, Administration and Entrepreneurship. He completed his undergraduate work at Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where he triple majored in Economics, Finance & Banking, and Risk Management & Insurance. An avid volunteer, Mr. Withers donates time to the Cary Family YMCA “We Build People” program as well as being a Buddy for the Miracle League of Raleigh. He is a member of Hope Community Church.
